The fragments may or may not have a plot, and certainly don't have an era. These fragments are of great artistry, and a significant global subculture develops to try and make sense of them.
The main plot concerns short fragments of video being anonymously uploaded to the net. The language and style are amazing - I often see the world a little differently after a short dip in to that book. I read it when it came out, and I still pick it up and read a few pages at random. This isn't really a review, just a few thoughts on a wonderful couple of books. Know any others? Message #scifi and let your friendly mods know!
